  Overview

Taiwan Commate Computer Inc.(COMMELL), the worldwide leader of Industrial Single Board Computers, unveiled LS-579 5.25" embedded system board based on Intel® Skylake / Kaby Lake Intel® 6th / 7th Gen Core™ i7 / i5 / i3 S-series Processor and E3-1200 v5 processor family.

Integrated Intel® HD Graphics Technology with integrated memory. The COMMELL LS-579 platform provides excellent CPU, graphics, media performance, flexibility, and enhanced security, is ideally suited to applications requiring multi-tasking capabilities, such as gaming, surveillance, medical, defense, transportation and industrial automation application. Intel® mobile platform to support DDR4 memory (Two DDR4 SO-DIMM 1866/2133 MHz up to 32GB).

The platform is based on Intel® HD Graphics, Technology that provides high-end media and graphics capabilities for devices that display videos, 2D/3D graphics and interactive content. Displays can be connected via one VGA, one LVDS, one HDMI and one DP port, up to three displays can be controlled simultaneously support to provide its advanced solutions for imaging, machine vision and digital signage applications. LS-579 offers lots of features including high-speed data transfer interfaces such as 6 x USB3.0 and 4 x SATAIII, equipped with dual Gigabit Ethernet and comes with PS/2 port, 4 x RS232 and 2 x RS232/422/485, 4 x USB2.0, Intel® High Definition Audio, and 2 x MiniPCIe socket (support mSATA), 1 x SIM slot, 2 x M.2 (Key M), 1 x M.2 (Key E).
